Class Policies

Welcome to Yoga Puppies

​We're so happy you're joining us!

Yoga Puppies was created to bring together movement, mindfulness, and puppy play in a joyful, welcoming environment. Our classes are designed to be fun, relaxed, and beginner-friendly while always prioritizing the health and wellbeing of our puppies.

Please take a few moments to review the following class policies before your visit.

What to Expect

Each Yoga Puppies class is approximately 60 minutes and is thoughtfully designed to create a positive experience for both our guests and our puppies.

🐶 Puppy Play (15 Minutes)

We'll begin with time to meet, greet, cuddle, and play with the puppies as everyone settles into the space. This allows the puppies to explore naturally while giving guests an opportunity to connect before class begins.

🧘 Yoga (30 Minutes)

Next, we'll move through a gentle, beginner-friendly yoga flow while the puppies are free to wander, nap, play, or stop by for cuddles whenever they choose.

No yoga experience is necessary—our classes are designed for all experience levels.

🐾 Puppy Play & Photos (15 Minutes)

We'll finish class with additional puppy play, cuddles, and time to capture photos before saying goodbye to our furry friends.

Before You Arrive

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled class to allow time for check-in.

  • Doors will open approximately 15 minutes before class begins.

  • To help maintain a calm environment for both guests and puppies, participants arriving more than 10 minutes after class begins may not be admitted.

  • Please silence your cell phone before class begins.

What to Bring

We've got your yoga mat covered!

Simply bring:

  • Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little furry

  • A water bottle

  • Socks are optional (many guests enjoy practicing barefoot)

  • An open heart and a love for puppies

Please avoid wearing strong perfumes or fragrances, as puppies have sensitive noses.

Puppy Wellbeing Comes First

The puppies are the heart of this experience, and their health, comfort, and wellbeing will always come first.

Our puppies are never forced to interact with guests.

They are free to:

  • Explore

  • Play

  • Rest

  • Nap

  • Take breaks

  • Return to their breeder or handler whenever needed

If a puppy needs additional rest or care, they may be removed from class at any time.

Thank you for helping us create a calm, respectful environment where our puppies can simply be puppies.

Puppy Etiquette

To help create a positive experience for everyone, we ask that guests:

  • Allow puppies to approach you naturally.

  • Handle puppies gently and respectfully.

  • Never chase, grab, or force interaction with a puppy.

  • Avoid picking up puppies unless directed by staff.

  • Allow sleeping puppies to rest.

  • Follow all guidance provided by our instructors and puppy handlers.

Every puppy has a unique personality, and not every puppy will choose to interact with every guest—and that's perfectly okay.

Our Puppies

We partner with responsible breeders who care deeply for the health, development, and socialization of their puppies.

Each puppy participating in Yoga Puppies is carefully supervised throughout the event and has access to water, rest, and breaks whenever needed.

Our classes are intentionally designed around the puppies' needs so they can enjoy positive social experiences in a safe, supportive environment.

Outside Pets

For the safety of our puppies and to provide a consistent experience for every guest, outside dogs and other pets are not permitted.

Service animals required by law are welcome. If you plan to attend with a service animal, please contact us in advance so we can discuss how to safely accommodate both the service animal and the puppies.

Photography

Feel free to take photos before and after class.

During the yoga portion of class, we encourage you to put your phone away, be present, and enjoy the experience.

We'll capture photos throughout the event so you can spend more time with the puppies and less time behind your camera.

Puppy Breeds

We love introducing guests to a variety of puppy breeds throughout the year.

While we make every effort to feature the advertised breed, breeds, litter sizes, or individual puppies may occasionally change if necessary to prioritize the puppies' health and wellbeing.

Cleanliness

Our puppies are still learning!

While our team promptly cleans any little accidents, occasional puppy messes are simply part of spending time with young dogs.

We appreciate your patience—and your sense of humor.

Age Requirements

Yoga Puppies welcomes guests ages 8 and older.

  • Guests ages 8–15 must attend with a participating parent or legal guardian.

  • Guests ages 16–17 may attend independently after a parent or legal guardian has completed the required waiver.

  • Every participant must reserve their own spot.

Our Commitment

At Yoga Puppies, we believe a great class should be just as rewarding for the puppies as it is for our guests.

Our goal is to create meaningful experiences that support positive puppy socialization while giving people the opportunity to slow down, smile, and connect through movement and play.

Every decision we make—from our small class sizes to our class format and puppy care—is guided by one simple principle:

Puppy wellbeing always comes first.
