Participant Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Welcome to Yoga Puppies

Welcome! We're so excited you're joining us for Yoga Puppies.

Our mission is to create a joyful experience where movement, mindfulness, and puppy play come together in a safe, welcoming environment. The health and wellbeing of our puppies is always our highest priority, and we ask every participant to help us create a positive experience for both people and animals.

Before participating, please carefully read this Participant Waiver & Assumption of Risk.

Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Yoga Puppies is voluntary and involves inherent risks associated with physical activity, interaction with live animals, and participation in a group event.

These risks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Muscle soreness, strains, or physical injury

  • Slips, trips, or falls

  • Scratches, nips, or accidental contact from puppies

  • Allergic reactions or sensitivities

  • Exposure to dog hair, pet dander, saliva, cleaning products, pollen, grass, dust, and other environmental allergens

  • Other unforeseen risks that naturally arise from participating in a yoga class with live animals

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in Yoga Puppies.

Health & Personal Responsibility

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to determine whether participation is appropriate based on my own health, fitness level, allergies, medical conditions, or other personal circumstances.

If I have concerns about my ability to participate safely, I understand that I should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before attending.

I agree to participate within my own physical limits and to stop participating if I experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

Environmental Exposure & Allergies

I understand that Yoga Puppies takes place in an environment with live puppies.

I acknowledge that the event space may contain dog hair, pet dander, saliva, and other naturally occurring environmental allergens.

By choosing to participate, I accept responsibility for my own allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions and voluntarily assume any risks associated with exposure to these conditions.

Animal Interaction

I understand that puppies are living animals with unique personalities, energy levels, and behaviors.

Although every reasonable effort is made to create a safe experience, animal behavior cannot be guaranteed.

I acknowledge that puppies may jump, scratch, nibble, bark, lick, or otherwise interact unexpectedly despite appropriate supervision.

I agree to:

  • Follow all instructor directions.

  • Handle puppies gently and respectfully.

  • Never force interaction with a puppy.

  • Allow sleeping puppies to rest.

  • Respect any puppy removed from class for rest or wellbeing.

I understand that interaction with puppies cannot be guaranteed.

Participant Conduct

To help create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, I agree to:

  • Follow instructor guidance throughout the class.

  • Treat all participants, staff, and breeder partners with kindness and respect.

  • Interact calmly and gently with the puppies.

  • Avoid any behavior that could place people or animals at risk.

Yoga Puppies reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive. Such removal may occur without refund.

Minor Participants

Children ages 8–15 must attend with a participating parent or legal guardian.

Participants ages 16–17 may attend independently only after a parent or legal guardian has completed the required waiver.

The parent or legal guardian accepts responsibility for the supervision and conduct of any minor participant.

Photography & Media

During Yoga Puppies classes, photographs and video may be taken for promotional purposes.

Participants who provide photo consent during registration authorize Yoga Puppies and Bella Brands LLC to use their likeness in marketing materials, social media, website content, and other promotional materials.

Participants who decline photo consent will not intentionally be featured in promotional content.

Emergency Medical Care

In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Yoga Puppies staff to contact emergency medical services if deemed appropriate.

I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, I release and hold harmless Bella Brands LLC, Yoga Puppies, its owners, instructors, breeder partners, venue partners, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or causes of action arising from my participation, except where prohibited by law.

Cancellation Policy

I acknowledge that I have reviewed and agree to the separate Cancellation Policy available on this website.

Acknowledgment

By completing my registration, I acknowledge that:

  • I have carefully read this Participant Waiver & Assumption of Risk.

  • I understand its contents.

  • I voluntarily agree to its terms.

  • I understand that this agreement is binding upon me and, where applicable, my heirs, representatives, and assigns.
